Sometimes going to the gym can be a pain in the rear end. Whether you are on the road, bored of the gym, can’t afford a membership, trying to break out of a fitness rut, or just want to discover something new, YouTube can be a great resource! You can explore a ton of different at-home workout options and see what’s best for you.
Here are some YouTube fitness channels that I love or have come highly recommended. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
- BeFit This channel has lots of free workout videos from top trainers including Jillian Michaels, Denise Austin, Jane Fonda, and more. I love Jillian Michaels’ workouts and this channel provides easy access to her awesome videos. I really like that I don’t have to shell out the money to purchase one of her DVDs. The other trainers are also great.
- Tone It Up So many people have raved about this channel. Katrina and Karena are best friends who create workout videos together and have such an energetic vibe. Their channel categorizes their workouts, making it easy to find the workout you’re looking for.
- Fitness Blender These videos are pretty straight forward and the exercises are performed with great form and enough instruction for beginners to feel comfortable. This channel has everything from quick exercise demo videos to full-length workout videos. I highly recommend it!
- Jessica Smith A bunch of people recommended Jessica Smith’s YouTube channel and really enjoy her full-length workouts. Jessica’s channel features barre workouts, core workouts, cardio, yoga and more!
- Blogilates Check out the Blogilates channel if you’re in the mood for a fun workout. Cassey creates workout videos with popular music that makes the time pass by faster than you can say Blogilates!
- ZuzkaLight This is another recommended channel that has lots of quick, intense workout videos.
- Sarah Fit Sarah has a way of making you feel like you’re working out with a friend and her channel is frequently updated, so there’s always something new to watch!
- Tara Stiles This channel is very popular amongst Yogi’s. Tara is the founder of Strala Yoga in New York City and she makes yoga feel more accessible. She has a way of teaching that is easy both friendly and easy to follow.
